New Shoes!

So another obsession I have is shoes. My mother claims I am as bad (if not worse) than Imelda Marcos with my desire and liking for shoes. In another life, I'd be a shoe designer / maker. Maybe one day I'll get to go to Cordwainers and train in shoe making and design.

For now however, I feed my obsession once in a while with a pair of fabulous shoes. This month in Simply Knitting magazine a pair of shoes was shown in a photo. For a knitting magazine I found this quite surprising however, I fell in love with the shoes. They have everything a girl could want, reminders of childhood ballet classes, pretty glittery bits and flats so I can get around in them without falling over and breaking my neck!

Yesterday, I went to the store to get them alas they had none! When I got home, I logged on to their web site and ordered the dreamy girly shoes. 9am this morning, a ring on the doorbell and the shoes were delivered by courier. I was astounded! I wanted to wear them but of course, it being the first day of Wimbledon Tennis, London is drenched in drizzly rain!

C'mon give us back the warm dry sunshiney weather so I can wear my new shoes!

And yet another edit to say these came from Next. I tried to get them in the Wimbledon branch at the weekend without luck so got them from the Next Directory Online
