SMART!

I am SO excited.

I got to work this morning to find a chap waiting for me. He was here to deliver my new car, a Smart Four Two Brabus in river silver.

It is GORGEOUS!

Now the story behind how I got the car. About a month ago I got head hunted by a rival publishing company. They called me and asked me to go see them. Now, thats fine but I don't particularly want to leave where I am. Specifically not since we moved office because the problems we had before have just evaporated. The people who wanted to get me fired are suddenly no longer bothered and I fully believe it is because we now have lots of space between our desks and room to breathe.

Anyway - when invited to go meet people it would be rude not to look, so off I went. I honestly figured these guys are nuts, what do they want me for? They did the whole sales patter on me and yes, they do look interesting. Anyway they never came back to me after the meeting but I went and told the boss that they were interested. They did say that. I left him to draw his own conclusions and it wasn't really my fault that they offered me a car to keep me.... they knew I was looking to buy one.

Anyway, the deal ended up being they put 2/3 in and I put 1/3 of the cost in and got a brand new Smart Brabus river silver. As a surprise to the chairman who approved it (god bless his cotton socks) I put a personalised number plate on it. The plate spells out the name of our company =D It is just so super cool!
